Want to learn more about what Gateway Community College has to offer? Join us for an open house! Gateway's Annual Campus Wide Open House will be held on April 7, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. No RSVP necessary. Open houses give prospective students and their families a chance to get to know Gateway's academic community, campus, and excellent programs. Bring a friend!

GCC offers a broad range of liberal arts and sciences, technical, career associate degree and certificate programs and courses leading to transfer, employment, and lifelong learning. The college supports and encourages student success and inclusion through stimulating learning opportunities, innovative teaching, support services, and co-curricular activities. The campus also serves local businesses and the workforce through the GREAT Center, Gateway’s Resource Education and Training Center, which provides classrooms and labs for customized training programs to meet the needs of regional business and industry.

Situated in an historic college town, Gateway’s convenient location in downtown New Haven puts students within walking distance of a wide variety of museums, shops, theaters, and of course, an amazing selection of restaurants, renowned pizza, and international cuisines. Students also have access to exciting events such as the International Festival of Arts & Ideas and an annual tennis tournament.

Students enjoy the convenience of parking in the Gateway Garage or the Temple Street Garage. For those traveling by public transportation, Gateway is within walking distance from Union Station, creating pedestrian access to Metro-North Railroad and Amtrak (a free shuttle from Union Station is also available) and within a quarter mile of multiple bus stops. Students riding bicycles have access to secure bike racks once on campus.

At the open house, students can:

Tour GCC’s state-of-the-art facility
Learn about GCC’s academic departments and attend information sessions and workshops
Meet GCC professors and staff
Meet with Gateway students and learn about campus activities, clubs and organizations

Free parking is available in the Gateway Garage, located on Crown Street. Click here for directions and parking information.
